In this Passion Play concert, the Baroque & more ensemble, under the artistic direction of Luc Ponet, offers musical works about suffering, pain, and comfort, interwoven with contemporary reflections. The soloists will perform, among other works, Pergolese's moving Stabat Mater.

But how do we perceive suffering today? Christine Denis's portrayal, imbued with pain and helplessness, offers a modern perspective. Poetic texts, carefully selected and recited by Anne Bonjean, build a bridge between past and present, between the raw emotions of the past and the human fragility of today. A poignant concert that touches and invites reflection.
